Happy Halloween!

We went to our school Halloween carnival this week.  Cinderella, Pippy Longstocking, a ninja, and a mummy - we were quite the crew.  We had fun!

12 years old!!!

I can't even believe that Andrew is 12!   This is his root beer float pie, it was very yummy.  He got to take 3 friends to play laser tag, and we had a blast!  Andrew is now a deacon!  He looks great in his new suit!

Happy Birthday Taylor!

Taylor is 7 years old!  Taylor requested a root beer float cake.  I found 2 yummy recipes and decided to make both.  They were great!  Taylor had a very spiderman-ish birthday.  Taylor is growing up too fast!

I still can't believe my baby is 3.  I tried using red fondant for her cake - it was a fun cake to make.  We had a great day!

It's just me and Kaylee now, with all the kids gone to school.  Every day this week she grabs her stroller, diaper bag, baby, and of course Alyssa's dress up shoes.  She is such a sweet girl.  I can't believe that tomorrow she will be 3 years old.  My baby is growing up!

 The kids were excited to start school...and I was excited to send them.  Ha Ha!  It will be quiet around here with just me and Kaylee.

 Taylor is starting 1st grade.

BB Guns

The boys had so much fun shooting their BB guns - We had to do a lot of reminding as to where to point the guns and other safety items.  :)

Andrew's Bird study

Andrew just earned his bird study merit badge - he had to build a bird house.  He decided to paint it gold.  It was a lot of work.

Our Garden

 It looks empty with the peas and most of the potatoes gone.  We have loved having a garden this year.

 Our corn is growing...almost ready.  :)

At the cabin.

We had a blast at the cabin this summer.  We got to go spend two days at Yellowstone, and we never saw any mosquitoes.  :)  We went to Old Faithful, saw several geysers, went to Yellowstone Lake, and hiked to the Yellowstone Grand Canyon.  We really enjoyed our trip.

Jackson Hole

I took the kids to Jackson this summer.  We got to stop and get a square ice cream come on the way.  My dad had two paintings in an art gallery, we were so excited to go see those.  He is so talented!

Andrew was also going on a 5 mile hike - it was fun getting him ready for that.  He was really excited!

We finally got our front yard done.  It was a lot of rocks and a lot of work.  But it looks great!
